2023 is a big year for Chevy. While some of the staples of their lineup remain mostly unchanged, some major changes are happening to other models. Whether looking for a car, truck, or SUV, you can find something from Chevy to make your commute much more enjoyable. Let's take a look at what the new 2023 Chevy lineup has in store for you.
Major Changes to the 2023 Lineup
A few Chevys are being updated for 2023 while some fresh introductions are being made. Here are the Chevys making the biggest splashes for the model year.
Chevy Corvette Z06
The 2023 Corvette Z06 is a mid-engine Corvette that looks and feels exotic. The original Z06 - introduced in 1963 - was a track-worthy little car. But the Z06 of 2023 is unique in that it has a 5.5-liter V8 with a new flat-plane crankshaft design that gets you a whopping 670 horsepower, and the exhaust tone is vibrant and unlike anything we've heard from a Chevy.
The Z06 is 3.6 inches wider than the Stingray, and the front fascia is crafted to meet the engine's cooling requirements. The 20- and 21-inch 'spider' wheels stand out, and acceleration is boosted by the eight-speed dual-clutch transmission's shorter 5.56 final drive ratio.
Chevy Colorado
The 2023 Chevy Colorado offers buyers a rugged performance with three off-roading models. The new Trail Boss trim features a 2-inch factory-lifted, ultra-wide stance. Cargo bed functionality has been enhanced with a 110-volt power outlet, a tailgate storage system, and a mid-position tailgate. There are also four new interior trim options to choose from.
Chevy Silverado ZR2 Bison
The 2023 Chevy Silverado ZR2 Bison is all-new and ready to roam. This special edition boosts off-roading capabilities by offering rocker protection, special skid plates, and a custom-designed front bumper. The 3.0-liter Duramax diesel engine has more power with 305 horsepower and 495 pound-feet of torque.
Chevy Blazer
Buyers looking for a smaller SUV might be interested in the changes made to the 2023 Blazer. It has a new front fascia, LED headlights, a redesigned front grille, taillights, and daytime running lights. Inside, all models now have a standard 10.1-inch center screen. Some models have 18-, 20-, and 21-inch wheel options. Wireless charging is standard across the board, and the RS trim lets you opt for a chic Nightshift Blue interior design.
Chevy Equinox
On the 2023 Chevy Equinox, you get a slew of new exterior color options, including Radiant Red Tintcoat. The standard 1.5-liter turbo engine now has 175 horsepower, plus e-boost electronic assisted power brakes. The LS trim gives you options for Sport and Midnight editions.
Chevy Bolt EUV
If price prohibits you from buying the Chevy Bolt EUV, take comfort in this year's massive price reduction. The LT and Premier are now $6,300 less in MSRP than in 2022. This year sees the introduction of the Redline Edition, and Radiant Red Tintcoat paint is now available.
Also, there are new front and rear floor liners. You can get 247 miles of electric charge and 56.9 cubic feet of cargo space in the back.
Chevy Bolt EV
Like the Bolt EUV, the 2023 Bolt EV sees a new floor liners are available. Moreover, you can opt for an illuminated charging port to help you see as you cruise the darkened streets outside.
